You’re probably wondering: “But how do I find where the caches are located?”

To find the location of caches, visit the Groundspeak website: http://www.geocaching.com.

You’ll need to register on the site. Registration is free. Later, if you want access to more advanced features, you can upgrade to a "Premium membership" for $30 US. But to start, the free account will still let you see the locations and descriptions of caches.

Once you’ve registered on Geocaching.com, simply enter your postal code in the search field on the homepage, and the site will display thousands of caches, starting with the ones closest to you.

Write down the coordinates (N4X° XX.XXX W07X° XX.XXX), enter them into your GPS, and you’re ready for your first adventure (make sure your GPS is set to WGS84 Datum mode).

Happy Geocaching!
