Commanditaires pour les caches-rencontres

#1 Message par Lemex » ven. 4 avr. 2008 19:58

Hello Michael,

The problem is now fixed.

We'll have fun at the event, that's for sure! And the weather will be on our side with a sunny sky and -4° C (far better from the -22° C two years ago!).

Thanks!

Thank you for your reply.

Please let me know when the page is changed as I will need to look at it. Normally we retract and its easy to follow but I didn't want to retract the page today since the event was tomorrow.

Have fun at your event.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

It has come to my attention that your event page violates the commercial guidelines of the site.

You have your sponsors logos on the page with links to the business sites. This is not allowed. Normally we would retract the page and give you a chance to fix it. However since the event is tomorrow instead of retracting the page I am going to edit out the sponsor logos. You can replace then as long as they do not have links to the business pages. I commented the HTML out so it will be easier to edit for you Just remove the <!-- at the start and the --> at the end of the section so it shows. all you need do is remove the links to the sites for the logos.

Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.

Thanks,

Generally, sponsors may be listed by name on event pages but no links, logos or URLs may be included. This is done to avoid having the event pages become billboards for advertisers. If there are examples of violations out there, it is only because they have not yet been brought to my attention.

So, the note could say, 'Thanks to Joe's Market for sponsorship of this event', but not 'thanks to Joe's market.com...' Again, we don't want event pages to become listings and links of sponsors and if we allow one to do it, everyone will want to sponsor events so that they can get advertising on the site event pages.

Merci Landbehrt

Une histoire à suivre mes Snoros.

Va jouer dehors!
