Membre Premium seulement. Pour le moment j'ai la carte Google sur mon GC.com Dans la page de la cache, il y a un choix à faire dans la colonne de gauche "Set Map Preference"

Share Cache Logs with Facebook and Twitter

In this release we have added a widget to the log confirmation page that allows you to quickly connect and share cache logs to your Twitter feed and Facebook wall.

Bon...... Suite à la MAJ de hier.
Il n'y a plus aucunes photos, images de disponible sur le site et les descriptions des caches.
Même nos avatars sont tous pareil.... un beau X rouge en haut à gauche!
De plus, selon le forum de gc.com, il est impossible de faire du upload de photos sur le site????

Ca semble generalise, toutes images sont disparut, meme celle dans mes galeries de logs etc... aucune image sur mes caches qui sont sur leur serevur, seules celles qui sont hosté ailleur sont visibles...

j'espere que ce pas permanent!

We are planning to take down all Groundspeak production servers for standard maintenance next Tuesday night.

This outage will begin at 18:00 PST (21h00, heure du Québec) next Tuesday, November 6th, and is expected to last around 4 hours--although we won't know exact times until we are able to install and test the new hardware. During this outage, there will be no access to Groundspeak services including the Geocaching.com website, the Geocaching Live API, and all other Groundspeak web properties.

Our goal for this maintenance window will be to make some improvements to the storage capabilities of one of our servers.

Release Notes

The slide show begins on geocache page image galleries. Now just open an image on a geocache page and you can scroll left and right through the gallery - easy as that. Less is more on the Geocache Submission Page. There's now only one button on the final "Submit Cache" page. Click "Save and Exit" and your geocache will be submitted for review. The number 500 was in the cross-hairs of our developers this release. You'll see it less. They found and fixed a half-dozen pages that throw Server 500 Errors. Let's welcome three new languages to the family of more than a dozen languages on Geocaching.com. The site's main pages are now available in Korean, Latvian, and Estonian. And… bugs, bugs, bugs. Developers squashed a total of 26 bugs all told, making the site even more stable.

Some additional details:

Release Notes

New languages are in, finding hotels are out.
○ Geocaching adds to two more languages to our stable of translations. Now you'll be able to select near complete site translations of Greek and Romanian – and in 16 others - in the Geocaching.com drop down languages menu.
○ "Find nearby Hotels" on geocache pages finds retirement. You'll no longer see the link on geocache pages. We are expecting a slight increase in performance on the site by removing the link.

Other news:
○ Geocaching community volunteers add another tool to their tool belts to help increase efficiency.
○ CITO dates announced and added to geocaching.com/cito
○ Fix to the slideshow arrows on really small images. They now work.

Release Notes

A helpful arrow joins your site navigation, the number of bookmarks for each account is more than doubled and three languages see major updates. It's all in the latest update from Geocaching.

• An arrow now appears when you scroll down on pages that will navigate you to quickly the top of pages
• The number of bookmark lists for each account expands from 40 to 100
• Catalan, Polish and Norwegian all receive major updates
• The maps on print-friendly versions of geocache pages now show additional waypoints
• A user is now automatically logged in when validating their account
• Bug fix: The "View Log" and "Print Picture" links on an image viewed in the cache page gallery now work again

A couple of additional items:

• Leaflet maps have been updated to version 0.50 throughout the site with the exception of the /map page
  (this work will come in a later release)
  • The /account/ManageLocations.aspx page has been updated to use Leaflet rather than Google, and in the process the geocoding has changed so that the marker no longer "snaps" to a nearby road when a user enters precise home coordinates
• We are dropping support for IE7; the site will still work with this browser, but we will no longer tweak page layouts and the like to look "pretty" with IE7

On Tuesday, March 5th at 8pm PST (GMT -8) Geocaching.com and the Geocaching Live API will be offline for approximately 5 hours while we perform a required database conversion.

This work will enable us to support all Unicode characters in geocache and Trackable logs. We expect this enhancement will be appreciated by international users accustomed to writing in their own previously unsupported languages, such as Japanese, Greek, and Russian among many others. Both the website and API will benefit from these changes.

• Logs in any other Language would still be Logs

Log a geocache or the journeys of a Travel Bug® in any language you'd like. Geocaching is adding support for double-byte characters, also known as Unicode, to cache logs and trackable logs. It's now a snap to write logs in Japanese, "私はジオキャッシング大好" or Arabic أنا أحب غيوكاشينغ or Hebrew אני אוהב את הסרבית. (They all translate to, "I love geocaching.") The update won't be immediate however.

Geocaching.com and our mobile apps will be offline temporarily to essentially double the storage required for logs to accommodate double-byte characters. The site will be offline on Tuesday, March 5th, 2013 at approximately 8pm PST. The outage is expected to last about three hours as our developers and IT works to upgrade the site. Follow @GoGeocaching on Twitter for updates about this or any site outage.

• Banner Ad Variety

Banner ads will begin showcasing more variety. Geocaching and partner placements will appear with a mix of appropriate ads for the geocaching lifestyle.

• Weekly Mailer under Repair

Work on laying the foundation for a new Geocaching Weekly Mailer template and functionality is nearing completion. Expect an updated look and feel for your Weekly Mailer in the coming months.
