It's clear that the game is about points just as Geocaching is. People can lie all they want. I get sick of GC saying it's a high tech scavenger hunt when it's not. I can GC now with just a map print out or lift up any light skirt in a parking lot or look at the end of a guard rail in the U.S. and find a cache. I am 100% more comfortable in a parking lot looking for munzees that I have ever been looking for GC Skirt Lifters.
In the "same" park where I have both munzees and geocaches on the road and in the woods, The ones on the road are hit at least 1200% more then the wooded hides. People will swing and Cap and log the park and grabs but are not willing to get out and walk a trail for a find. Why would they? They can spend 60 Minutes getting 30-40 finds or 60 Minutes getting 2. Which do they grab? Doesn't take a rocket city redneck to figure that one out.
Must people who place a ton of Munzees and caches like me probably like to hike and have no problem spending the day getting dirty and wet and coming out of the woods 6 hours later with only 1 find because it's not just about the numbers it's the adventure. 95% of the players are not that adventurous. They want the easy quick finds that will net them tons and tons of points.
For myself, I have 100+ munzees on Stop Signs alone and most of those get capped far more then my Quality jungle hides. Heck I bet most of the munzees that I have placed that have not been capped yet are jungle hides or hides off the beaten path.
